For thousands of families like Alexandru’s, Christmas is a luxury they can't afford. A combination of unemployment, the lack of basic food and inadequate state support create daily challenges for survival for many across Eastern Europe.
We work all year round with many of these families and each Christmas we share God’s love with a box of food basics and treats.
Gift a box
Each box costs $45 and contains a selection of rice, pasta, sugar, flour, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, biscuits, soup mix, cooking oil, condensed milk, jam, sweets, and chocolate.
Each person and family who receives a Christmas Box also has the opportunity to hear the Christmas story. Our local coordinator will happily sit and talk about Jesus with anyone who wants and also has plenty of Christian literature to leave for a person or family to read through later.
We give out 40,000 boxes every year to the wide range of people we work with, regardless of race or religion. We bless the elderly, homeless, orphans, widows, and poor and marginalized in Eastern Europe.
