The harsh winter had depleted their firewood, leaving them in a freezing home with no means to light the stove. As a single mother with limited resources, Nayle faced this daunting reality alone.

Nayle's journey is a sad one, marked by abandonment and adversity. After her husband took on two more wives, their marriage ended in divorce, leaving Nayle solely responsible for Kezim's well-being. With no family support and limited education, Nayle relies on state benefits and occasional work cleaning local parks to make ends meet.
Kezim, a second-grade student with special educational needs, battles severe health issues, including anaemia and liver problems. Despite these challenges, he dreams of becoming a police officer.
Nayle's dedication to her son is unwavering, but the financial strain makes it difficult for them to face the cold Bulgarian winters.
Spaska, the family coordinator, shared Nayle's heartfelt reaction upon learning about the winter support: "I can't put into words the peace and gratitude that radiated from Nayle's face at the fact that the room was warm, and her child was safe."
